The Sweet One Plantain Tee is a playful homage to the joys that unite us across ‘Plantain’ diasporas. Winning a Tee of the Year Award from Everpress in 2021, the design captures the humour, nostalgia, and pride surrounding this shared cultural icon. The phrase “Sweet One” has multiple meanings and uses and was a perfect pair with the taste of plantain.
Accessible, relatable, and rooted in shared identity, Sweet One turned a cultural touchstone into a wearable piece of art.
